As you prepare for your Disneyland trip, we have made this piece very brief for you so as to make sure the happiest place on earth doesn’t turn to an expensive, exhausting and sweaty ordeal for you.

So, here are the things we think you need:

A Backpack

A solid backpack with sufficient room to put everything will be needed. You have to get one that is big enough to hold one day’s worth of supplies, but ensure your supplies aren’t bulky so as not to have issues navigating through the crowd.

Extra Change of Clothes

You’ll definitely get wet if you go on Splash Mountain. So, bring at least some extra t-shirts or tops for kids. They also become useful in case of ice-cream-related “disasters”.

Plastic Zip Top Bags

You can keep your phones in these bags when you go on water rides, you can also keep wet clothes here to separate them from the dry ones.

Comfortable Walking Shoes

You certainly want to wear comfortable sandals or sneakers since you’ll be on your feet 99.99% of the time you’ll spend here.

A Phone Charger

Electrical outlets are rare and far between, so don’t forget to bring something to give your phone some extra battery juice when running low on battery.

Hats, Sunscreen and Sunglasses

A soft sunhat that can easily be folded up and tucked into your bag is what you should bring. Also, don’t forget the sunglasses and SPF for the family.

Refillable Water Bottles

There are so many water fountains around here, which means you should save you some money by not buying bottled water.

Loose Change

Yes, it is possible to put virtually everything on your debit or credit card, but it is advisable to have some loose change on you for the penny machines that are all around at the park.

Costumes

Majority of the kids at the park will be dressed up in different costumes. Bring your kids’ favorite costumes from home so you won’t have to buy at the expensive gift shops.
